Naive Statement

1. This course is a platform to engage and rehearse the process of design.  It’s also an opportunity to learn about cities, Chicago, Chicago’s parks, and parks in general  Do you any specific hopes or expectations about the kind of work you hope to complete?
2. Often a design process begins with a series of questions rather than a proposal.  Generally, these questions would be open-ended, deal with bigger picture issues and require research, and allow for a range of possible responses rather than a finite answer.  What questions do you have about cities, parks, or the process of design?
